This self-paced training keeps equity at the heart to inspire participants to reevaluate, reallocate and reimagine power to focus on the mission, vision, and alignment of those most impacted by historic and current power imbalance. The four presentations and accompanying companion guide will offer clear connections between dimensions of power and strategies to begin intentionally shifting power for more equitable outcomes. Through scenarios and activities, participants will identify and deconstruct inequitable mental models, while receiving tools to achieve more equitable outcomes.

This series is designed for public health professionals, including public health nurses, at State, Tribal, Local, and Territorial Health Departments (OT21-2103 grant recipients) and their partners as a part of the National Initiative to Address COVID-19 Health Disparities Among Populations at High-Risk and Underserved, Including Racial and Ethnic Minority Populations and Rural Communities. It is also available for individuals working in public health, particularly those in governmental agencies.
