This three-part recorded training series is designed to provide an opportunity for managers and leaders to learn about and reflect on skills needed to support themselves, their teams, and their partners in navigating leadership transitions. This will include a focus on communication and trauma-informed leadership in order to equip practitioners to effectively lead through change and urgent challenges. Each module focuses on change management and adaptive leadership through a different lens, starting with the individual in module one, interpersonal and team in module two, and expanding out to community and partners in module three. This course includes a mix of didactic presentation, individual reflection activities, and knowledge checks.

Audience

Mid-level managers and leaders in governmental public health and healthcare, including nurses and public health nurses   

Learning Outcome

At conclusion of the educational activity, participants will self-report knowledge gain of effective communication and leadership styles using a 4-point Likert scale.
