In this webinar, we will review research describing Team Based Care process (e.g., team communication approaches) and structure elements (e.g., role definitions, panel size) that are designed to effectively provide services and ensure a positive care provision staff experience. Screening Brief Intervention for Treatment (SBIRT) will be used as a care pathway example for how effective interprofessional team based care elements are essential for the efficient and effective SBIRT care provision.

- Research describing 5 components of effective interprofessional team based care
- Using SBIRT as an example, how to use a 7 step interprofessional team process for assessing a current or implementing a new care pathway
- 3 solutions to common interprofessional team based care challenges experienced when executing or implementing a care pathway
