This course equips participants with an understanding of the critical importance of communication and adaptive tools for addressing it throughout the process of change. Participants will build a cooperative communication plan to apply to real situations.

Audience

Public health, nursing, and other allied health students and professionals, as well as those from other disciplines and sectors interested in leadership, management, and collaboration

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize the importance of cooperative communication during change
  • Apply one resource to a situation that can help you communicate clearly, influence others, and manage change constructively
  • Reflect on one's own communication style and its impact on others
  • Outline a communication plan and apply it to a real-time situation
