This on-demand training will provide an opportunity for governmental public health managers and leaders who came into their role during the pandemic to reflect on skills needed to support themselves, their teams, and their partners in navigating leadership transitions. Components will include a mix of presentations and reading-reflection prompts.

Mid-level managers and leaders in local health departments who came into their roles during the pandemic or shortly before

Learning Outcome

At the conclusion of the educational activity, participants will self-report knowledge gain of change management and adaptive leadership strategies using a 4-point Likert scale.

  • Identify strategies to continuously learn and adjust in their leadership role
  • Anticipate the needs of team members and partners during times of transition
