This course will present key concepts of motivational interviewing, its theoretical foundation and its use as a suicide prevention technique. This training will be led by Mallori DeSalle, MA, LMHC, NCC, CMHC, CPS, MATS, Program Manager of the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment Program of Prevention Insights at the Indiana University School of Public Health.

Public health professionals including nurses, local health department professionals and mental health professionals.
